Clean Water for Ngaanyatjarra Communities
Help us install solar-powered water purification systems across remote Ngaanyatjarra communities, ensuring safe drinking water for over 2,000 people.
Our journey so far
The Story
The Challenge
Many remote communities in the Western Desert still rely on unreliable bore water that often contains harmful levels of minerals. Children and elders are most affected, with waterborne illness being a leading cause of hospital visits.
Our Solution
We are partnering with local elders and engineers to install solar-powered water purification units that can filter up to 10,000 litres per day. Each unit is designed to be maintained by community members with minimal training.
Where Your Money Goes
Every dollar raised goes directly to equipment, transport, and community training.
Updates(2)
We are thrilled to share that the first solar-powered purification unit has been successfully installed in Warburton community. The elders performed a welcome ceremony and the first clean water flowed on March 1st.
